Add a commentIt was an educational video to stop text driving originally aimed at school children. Yet several million people have already viewed the video around the world on YouTube, a global reaction which has urged its teenage star to pursue an acting career.

Jenny Davies plays a young girl in the safety film, who causes a severe accident while texting and driving with her best friends travelling with her.
The shocking video has attracted extensive media interest for depicting the realistic effects and has already been picked up by American news shows.
Even though people say it is shocking and gory, it is important it is like that. For people my age, that is what I think affects us
Davies, of Abergavenny, said: “It has had a massive global reaction.” She now wants to do more acting roles, reports BBC News. She was set to go to Bristol University to study a drama degree, but the success of the film has given the 18 year old a taste of the acting profession and she is now looking to expand on her talents.
The young star believes the graphic content of the film is wholly justified. “Even though people say it is shocking and gory, it is important it is like that. For people my age, that is what I think affects us.”
The video is set to be shown around the UK officially in the autumn.
Warning: This video may not be suitable for some younger viewers.
