Inspiring the next generation of theatre lovers

Kids Week, now in it’s twelth year, gives children aged between 5 and 16 the opportunity to experience the magic of London theatre for free. Shows such as Wicked, Hairspray and the brand new musical Sister Act, have all signed up for a fortnight of theatre fun.

Kids Week will also give children a unqiue chance to take part in a range of free activities and workshops designed to engage and inspire the next generation of theatre lovers. Activities range from learning show-stopping numbers, meeting the cast and crew of major productions and opportunities to go behind the scenes to discover the backstage workings of an array of plays, musicals, ballets and comedies.

The scheme, which will run between 14-28 August, allows one child to go free to any particpating show when accompanied by a full paying adult, and another two children going for half price.

Full information on performances, free activities, travel and accommodation, and restaurants will be available at www.kidsweek.co.uk
