Sex and the City actress Kim Cattrall is set to star in the Noel Coward classic Private Lives.
She will team up actor Matthew MacFayen in the tale of divorcees Amanda and Elyot, who revive their feelings for one-another when they find themselves honeymooning with their new spouses in the same hotel in the South of France.
The production will be directed by Richard Eyre and will consist of a ten week season at the Vaudeville Theatre in March, following a stint at the Theatre Royal in Bath.
Kim Cattrall is no stranger to the West End having previously starred in Peter Hall's revival of Whose Life Is It Anyway and David Mamet's The Cryptogram at the Donmar. But she is best known for her outstanding performance as Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City.
