Mark Rylance and MacKenzie Crook are to reprise their roles in the play Jerusalem, which is transferring to the Apollo Theatre.
Jez Butterworth's play, which premiered at the Royal Court Theatre this summer to rave reviews and subsequently sold out, is a “comedy about life at the rural heart of England's green and pleasant land”.
The production will run for a limited 12 week season from 10th Febrary 2010 and will be directed by the former Artistic Director of the Royal Court, Ian Rickson. The transfer will be a co-production between The Royal Court and Sonia Friedman Productions.
