Last Sunday saw the fifth annual Spotlight Summer Ball, a frivolous and flamboyant graduation party for the UKs best dance and drama students.
Cafe dé Paris sparkled with its Moulin Rouge inspired décor, and everything from the glittering chandelier down to the vivacious dance floor was perfectly presented and ready for a night of hedonistic celebration.
Sarah Cawood hosted the event, encouraging the excitable and very well dressed crowd to really let their hair down as she gave out competition prizes and announced the impressive list of performers for the night. The beautiful Jodie Prenger had sadly lost of voice but took to the stage despite this, joining Sarah in giving out some of the amazing prizes, including tickets to the Big Chill and a year's membership to Spotlight Casting Directory.

Oliver Award winning Leanne Jones gave a brilliant performance of some classic musical show stoppers, and was clearly in the party spirit, refusing to shy away from her audience on the main dance floor where just two years ago she was dancing away herself as a graduating student from Mountview Academy.
The talented audience also saw performances by Anna Jane Cassey, Nancy Sullivan, and Spotlight Summer Ball organiser, David Flynn, who starred in ‘Never Forget'. What with these famous West End Stars, music provided by the Kitsch Lounge Riot, and incredible entertainment by the likes of Silk Artiste, Rae, the night flew by with everyone truly having a ball.
