Fourthwall Magazine is thrilled to have selected TheatreMAD as our charity partner for this year, and we’re really looking forward to working with them and helping them as much as we can with their valuable and much needed work.
TheatreMAD (Formerly West End Cares and Theatrecares) celebrated its 21st anniversary in 2012 and is a member of the fundraising family of The Make A Difference Trust which brings together the British Entertainment Community and its audiences to raise funds to support people living with HIV and AIDS, and those members of the entertainment industry facing hardship as a result of a long term critical illness, and who, as a result, are unable to work.
One of their most popular annual events is the fantastic West End Eurovision, which brings together performers and audiences in the West End to celebrate all things Eurovision and raise money for a terrific cause. This year the ten top West End shows vying for victory as they stage and choreograph a previous Eurovision entry include: SPAMALOT; BILLY ELLIOT; WICKED; ROCK OF AGES; ONCE; VIVA FOREVER; TOP HAT; MAMMA MIA!; PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and A CHORUS LINE.
Celebrity judges include Russell Grant, Jodie Prenger and Rylan Clark while West End favourite Richard Gauntlett hosts with the able assistance of celebrity guest hosts Sinitta, Christopher Biggins, Kerry Ellis and Ben Richards. This year, TheatreMAD are thrilled to include the last UK winner of the Eurovision Song Contest, Katrina Leskanich of Katrina and the Waves doing the honours as this year’s genuine Eurovision act.
Fourthwall and TheatreMAD are delighted to offer a student discount for this event which takes place at the Dominion Theatre on May 23rd from 11.30pm. All Fourthwall readers can contact the box office for the Dominion By Phone: 0844 847 2510 or Online: www.ticketmaster.co.uk and receive best available tickets for the show for only £15 as a student offer by quoting “EuroStud”
Fourthwall will be filming from the red carpet at what is always one of the West End’s most fabulous nights out. So make sure you get your ticket and see your favourite West End companies as you’ve never seen them before.
