See London shows for just £10 this winter

The Society of London Theatre have launched the 12th annual Get Into London Theatre scheme. Tickets are now on sale.

Over 50 participating productions ranging from plays to musicals and ballet to opera will offer tickets from as little as £10. The programme, which includes performances from 1st January to 15th February 2013, was set up to boost ticket sales and give everyone the opportunity to experience the magic of theatre in the Capital.

Whether it’s musicals you’re into such as Jersey Boys or Mamma Mia!, or plays such as War Horse or One Man, Two Guvnors, there is surely a production to “whet your appetite”. There are also a number of family shows taking part such as Room On The Broom, Sooty In Space and the seasonal favourite The Snowman.

The current star of Shrek The Musical, Carley Stenson, say this was a “great chance to see a brilliant selection of shows all over London at affordable prices. A theatre trip can be expensive, particularly after Christmas, but with tickets available from just £10 this is the perfect opportunity to take in a show, so don’t miss out!”

The 12th annual Get Into London Theatre campaign has grown in popularity year on year. Mark Rubinstein, President of SOLT, said that he was “thrilled” to be launching the 2013 programme. “We are delighted to be able to offer great tickets at affordable prices to an even wider range of diverse and exciting first-class shows.”

And it’s not just West End theatres taking part but a range of venues across the capital including the National Theatre, New Wimbledon, Sadler’s Wells and the Barbican.
