New TV drama stars David Jason and Alison Steadman
Television favourites David Jason and Alison Steadman are to star in a new TV drama for ITV1.
Alison Steadman in BBC's Gavin and StaceyFilming will begin next month in Leeds on a new TV drama starring Only Fools and Horses actor David Jason.
The 120-minute drama also stars Gavin and Stacey favourite Alison Steadman, and centres around a family financially struggling.
Come Rain and Shine is written by Jeff Pope.
ITV Director of Drama Laura Mackie said that ITV were delighted to have commissioned the drama as “wonderfully compassionate script about the importance of family and what happens when there's the chance you might lose everything.”
